The Ministry of Water and Environment Extends Gratitude to Ruaa Centre for Its Efforts in Safeguarding the Marine Environment

Aden – The Ministry of Water and Environment, in collaboration with the General Authority for Environmental Protection, honored the Ruaa Center for Strategic Studies, Consultations, and Training on Thursday morning. This recognition was in appreciation of the Centre’s dedicated efforts to protect sea turtles in Al-Azizi Island and the Ras Omran area.
The ministry highlighted the critical role of research and academic institutions in fostering environmental awareness and preserving natural resources. It noted that the endeavors of the Ruaa Center align with the Yemeni government’s strategy to promote sustainable development and environmental conservation.
In response, Dr. Jaklin Mansoor, the director of the Ruaa Centre, expressed her profound gratitude to the Ministry of Water and Environment and the General Authority for Environmental Protection for this acknowledgment. She reaffirmed the Centre’s commitment to continuing its efforts to enhance environmental awareness and protect the marine ecosystem in Aden.
Established in 2018, the Ruaa Centre for Strategic Studies, Consultations, and Training is a non-profit developmental and cultural organization. It focuses on implementing projects that contribute to societal development and cultural enrichment.
