Ruaa Centre Director meet the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries

A meeting between Dr. Jacqueline Al-Batani, President of the Ruaa Centre for Studies, and Lieutenant General Salem Al-Sukatri, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, was held on Tuesday. The two parties discussed the importance of protecting marine species threatened with extinction and activating protection laws.
The meeting touched on the need to issue circulars preventing restaurants from serving turtle meat to citizens and ensuring implementation to maintain ecological and biological balance in the marine environment. Enhancing partnership between Ruaa Centre and the Ministry to promote sustainable development and ecosystem in agriculture and fisheries sectors was also discussed.
The Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries emphasized cooperation between public and private sectors to achieve strategic goals in marine environmental protection and sustainable development.
